This is not an afternoon tea service
Worth saying plainly, because the phrase is ambiguous: we do not do scones, tiered stands or finger sandwiches. If you are planning a high tea, we are not the right vendor and we would rather tell you now than take the booking.
What we do is tea the way it is drunk across the Gulf and the Levant — brewed strong, spiced, poured hot into small cups, and handed over a counter by someone who will tell you what is in it.
Four teas, four different guests
A single tea urn serves one kind of person. A proper tea counter serves the room. Karak is the rich, milky, cardamom-heavy cup most guests have never tried. Sulaimani is its opposite — clear black tea with lemon, no milk, the thing people reach for after a heavy dinner. Sage tea, maramiya, is the comfort cup, and the one older guests will thank you for. Ginger lemon covers everyone avoiding caffeine.
Between them they cover the guest who wants something indulgent, the guest who wants something clean, and the guest who was quietly resigned to drinking water all night.

A hot-drinks menu is a hard sell at a 2pm August wedding in Irvine, which is why iced tea and the dirty soda bar run from the same booth. The counter adapts to the weather rather than betting on it.

How it works
A booth, a counter, and a queue that keeps forming
We bring a branded canopy, a served counter, and pots of tea and coffee brewed the way they are brewed in the Gulf. Because everything is brewed in volume before the doors open, we hand out a hot cup every few seconds rather than every few minutes.
That matters most at the moments events actually get busy: the end of a ceremony, a conference break, the hour after sunset at a Ramadan bazaar. The booth is designed to absorb a crowd, and the setup is designed to be photographed while it does.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cater afternoon tea or high tea?
No. We serve Middle Eastern and Gulf-style tea — karak, sulaimani, sage and ginger lemon — brewed in pots and poured to order. We do not provide scones, tiered stands, pastries or finger sandwiches.
What is sulaimani tea?
Sulaimani, sometimes spelled sulaymani, is black tea steeped with lemon and often a little cardamom or saffron, served without milk. It is the standard after-dinner tea across the Gulf and a clean counterpoint to a rich cup of karak.
What is sage tea?
Sage tea, known as maramiya in Arabic, is fresh sage steeped on its own or with black tea. It is herbal, warming and light on caffeine, and it is a staple in Levantine and Gulf households.
Can you serve guests who avoid caffeine?
Yes. Ginger lemon tea is caffeine-free, sage tea is very light, and the dirty soda bar can be built entirely without caffeine. We plan the mix with you based on your guest list.
Do you offer iced tea for summer events?
Yes. Iced tea runs from the same counter as the hot menu, which keeps the booth useful at daytime outdoor events.
