It has to be served warm, which is the whole problem
Knafeh — kunafa, if that is the spelling you grew up with — is shredded kataifi pastry layered over soft cheese, baked until the top goes deep gold, then finished with sugar syrup. Cut it warm and the cheese pulls. Let it go cold and it is a different, much worse dessert.
That is precisely why it rarely appears at events. A dessert dropped off two hours before service cannot deliver it. We are already on site with a working counter, so we cut and serve it warm at the moment your guests actually want it.
The dessert people queue twice for
Knafeh is the item that turns a drinks booth into a dessert station. It is a spectacle as much as a course — the pull when the first slice comes out of the tray is what makes people take out their phones.
Paired with a small cup of karak or sulaimani it becomes a complete after-dinner course that needs no plates, no cutlery and no seating plan.
Knafeh or kunafa?
Both, and they are the same dessert. You will also see kunafah, kanafeh and künefe — the spelling shifts with the region and the transliteration. Whichever your family says, this is the one.

How it works
A booth, a counter, and a queue that keeps forming

We bring a branded canopy, a served counter, and pots of tea and coffee brewed the way they are brewed in the Gulf. Because everything is brewed in volume before the doors open, we hand out a hot cup every few seconds rather than every few minutes.
That matters most at the moments events actually get busy: the end of a ceremony, a conference break, the hour after sunset at a Ramadan bazaar. The booth is designed to absorb a crowd, and the setup is designed to be photographed while it does.
- Branded canopy, calligraphy panels and feather flags included
- Served counter — guests are handed a cup, not left to self-serve
- Hot and cold menu so the booth works in July as well as December
- Indoor or outdoor, with our own setup and breakdown
What guests say
Reviews from Google
“Honestly one of the best Karak experiences in California. Mohammad really knows what he's doing. Every cup hits different, rich, smooth, and full of authentic Eastern flavor. You can literally taste the spices, the warmth, the culture in every sip. It's not just tea, it feels like a small trip to the Middle East right here in Cali. If you're into real Karak, this place is a must.”
“I had the pleasure of having The Dubai Karak at my birthday celebration, and they truly exceeded every expectation. They were so kind, generous, and welcoming, creating such a beautiful atmosphere from the moment they arrived. The karak was absolutely amazing, rich and authentic, and they offered so much more than just drinks. Every detail, from their presentation to their outfits, was executed perfectly from A to Z. They brought such a luxurious, elevated vibe that made everyone fall in love with the experience and truly made my party unforgettable!”
“I drink Karak very frequently and I've tried it here and it was the best Karak I've tried so far. I recommend everyone trying it out!”
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is knafeh?
Shredded kataifi pastry layered over soft cheese, baked until golden and soaked in sugar syrup. It is served warm, and the cheese layer pulls when you cut into it.
Is it knafeh or kunafa?
The same dessert. You will see knafeh, kunafa, kunafah, kanafeh and künefe — the spelling varies by region and transliteration.
Is the knafeh served hot?
Yes, and it has to be. We cut and serve it warm on site rather than dropping it off in advance, because cold knafeh is a completely different dessert.
Can you serve knafeh at a large wedding?
Yes. We bake and hold it so slices go out warm through the dessert window rather than all at once, which keeps the texture right across a big guest count.
Do you serve anything alongside it?
Baklava on the sweet side, chips and cheese paratha on the savoury side, and the full Gulf tea and coffee menu — karak, sulaimani, Arabic, Turkish and Saudi coffee — from the same booth.
